About

I studied English Literature and took additional courses in editing, but like many people who studied the humanities, I now work in the corporate world.

The Marble Estate Review was created in 2026 with the aim of publishing micro fiction and flash fiction — short stories designed to be read in transit. Whether you’re riding the New York City Subway, the London Underground, or the Paris Metro, these pieces are written for movement, for the in-between moments of the day when time feels both compressed and strangely open.

The Marble Estate Review is not about escaping the morning, the day, or our obligations. It’s about making space for literature within our busy, modern lives.

All the stories are published online and are free to read, and the first issue should be released this summer, so remember to bookmark. If you’re a writer and you’re interested in sending your work, please visit the submission guidelines.
